Burned Out 02:49
All I wanted was escape Separation from the world I hate To find a better place that I could call my own When we strive for acceptance We find instead an emptiness Isolated from the few like minds we know I don’t want your fate, I’ll find my own way You’re walking to your grave, but I won’t be the same We are not the same I don’t want your world anymore I’ve seen the damage it does, felt the sting of silence A jaded indifference Complacent existence A new kind of sickness that rots away…

Deaf Ears 02:10
The first thing I heard was the scream  "No God, no, please don't let this be"  I rushed up to help but was stopped by security  But I saw your daughter at your side  Tears streaming down her swollen eyes   Then I saw you there  Down beside a toppled chair  One wheel in the air still spinning  And I knew and I won't forget  I'll never forget the man said "shame," shrugged, and walked away  I'll never forget how cold this world can be I felt something change in me  Maybe from watching you die, maybe just from his apathy  But I'll never be the same   I'll never forget you   I think something in me died too
3.
Just soak up the sun while your insides decay  Never quite clear of the choices you've made  Because your silence let them in And your indifference let them stay  Now the whole world is burning and it's almost too late  I'd rather have you bait me, Show your thoughts are with the crowd  Even fight against me, at least just take a stand  But you just roll your eyes and I can't understand  You didn't pull the trigger, there's still blood on your hands  I guess it never hits close to home when home is paradise   And it's all you've ever known, no trouble sleeping at night  God forbid you look outside, past your own shallow life  Things are far from alright  Numb to the needless suffering, the world's and your own  Refusal to think critically, another unmoved stone  But someday you'll wake up and it will be too late  Been unmoved for decades, given in to fate  I won't give in to fate, I will not give in to faith  We're running out of time, there's nowhere left to hide  If you can't open your mouth, you're just waiting to die  Poisoned by the promise of tomorrow. Drink up and wait for better days  Poisoned by the promise of tomorrow. Drink until you're wasting away
